ICATT Corporate Governance Workshop

Description

This workshop is interactive in nature and at the end of the programme participants will be able to:

• Discuss current corporate governance practices and trends at national, regional and global levels
• Understand the characteristics of an effective Board of Directors
• Use a quadrant framework to understand the tasks of the Board and the relative importance of each
• Discuss the Board’s role in:

1. governance of risk and strategy
2. directing and managing change
3. sustainability, ethics and environmental governance

• Managers of internal audit departments and other assurance functions
